Veesix ::networks Accepted Use Policy (AUP)

Veesix Network Ltd's Accepted Use Policy ("AUP"), describes what is deemed as acceptable use for all services excluding professional consultancy and professional services.
This policy inherits all references on our terms of service page which can be found here. Most noticeably this includes the references to "we", "We", "us", "Us", "our" or "Our" being Veesix Networks Ltd (Company number 15450125) registered in the United Kingdom. All references to "you", "Customer" and "your" are references to the reader of this policy. By using our services then you agree to this accepted use policy and agree to maintain consumed services and/or products in full compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in the AUP. By using any services we provide, you are responsible for all use of our services/products whether you give permission or not, you agree the following:
- not to violate the laws, regulations, ordinances or other such requirements of any applicable government / entity
- not to engage in any illegal activities that may include but is not limited to: that may harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse others
- not to use our platform to host any services/websites/content/links/advertisements which may infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary rights of any 3rd party information.
- not engage in any activities which include but are not limited to:
- DoS (Denial of Service) / DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) / IP Scanners / Port Scans (Layer 4 Transport eg. TCP and UDP) / SSH attacks / TCP Reset Attacks / ICMP Flooding / TCP or UDP flooding / UDP bandwidth starve attacks.
- Sending bulk email / spamming / email bombing / unsolicited communications or unauthorized advertising
- Creating, Sending, Publishing, Storing or Uploading content which may include material containing viruses, key loggers, trojan horses, corrupted files with intent to harm any computer system or person, spyware, adware, illegal pornography, worms, hacks or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to harm people, computer systems, telephones, electronic equipment or animals.
- Downloading, Installing or distributing software that isn't properly licensed (eg. pirated software or illegally obtained software)

not to purposely cause harm to Veesix Networks Ltd or other
customers using our platform. Such actions include, but are not
limited to:
- Purposely trying to blacklist IPv4 and IPv6 addresses used on our platform to online spam databases / 3rd party spam services.
- Installing software which attempts to cause damage to software and/or hardware within the Veesix Networks Ltd infrastructure.
- not to attempt to bypass or avoid user security / authentication / security processes to access a network or system
Storage / Security / Loss / Damage
By using our services and accepting the terms and conditions of this accepted use policy, you are entirely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of passwords, backups, storage, firewall settings, remote/local access security on any service/product you purchase from us. While we provide backup solutions and maintain the underlying infrastructure, it is your responsibility to ensure your data is fully backed up and you have appropriate measures in place for damaged data and data loss when using our services.
You agree that we have the sole right to decide what constitutes a violation of our Accepted Use Policy (AUP) described above as well as what is the appropriate severity of any corrective action to be applied. If you violate the terms of conditions here then we will take corrective action immediately and notify you. Our decision is final and binding, and cannot be a subject of a further change.
High resource / excess resource usage
In the circumstances that a user utilizes our service resources or network capacity to such an extent that is may jeopardize server and/or network performance for other users then we may and can give you written warning to reduce your usage. We also reserve the right to implement any rate limiting on services without any notifying to rectify the issue but will always attempt to contact you to inform you that your usage is deemed excessive. We reserve the right to determine what is deemed an excessive usage however in the rare circumstance that this happens, we will inform you if we have made any modifications to your service either before or after the date which triggered the excessive use.
We want to be as transparent as we can with excess usage and while there is a possibility that a server or network is overloaded during peak times, we expect you to ensure that you are using the correct package/product/service for your use case and ensure you have the required amount of resources such as bandwidth, CPU cores/compute, RAM capacity and Storage capacity.
Changes to this Accepted Use Policy (AUP)
We may update this Accepted Use Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website and, please do take the time to check this website for the most recently updated version of our Accepted Use Policy.
